Extract the extension

Extract the ZIP and move the BUTTON folder somewhere permanent. Your browser loads the extension from this folder.

Open your browser’s extensions

Copy this address into a new browser tab. Switch on Developer mode.

Add BUTTON

Choose Load unpacked, then select the extracted BUTTON folder. Wallet setup opens automatically.

Choose your wallet

Connect Phantom, Solflare, or Backpack for Solana. Or create a BUTTON wallet, set a password, and save its recovery information. Pin BUTTON to your toolbar, then reload X. Look for the little + Buy beside a ticker.

Keep your recovery phrase.

Save it privately, away from this browser. It restores your wallet if you lose your password or remove the extension.

Updating later?

Replace the files in the same folder, then click Reload on BUTTON’s extension card. Keep the extension installed so its local wallet stays in place.

Installing from your phone?

Install on desktop Chrome, Brave, or Edge. Browser extensions cannot add buttons to the X iOS or Android app.
